Ideas and finding motivation in safety.

Sometimes you run out of ideas in getting the message across as to why we should identify hazards,follow safe work instructions and do JHAs,risk assessments of all sorts and in general look out for each other employer and workers alike.Whats the key motivator to get us switched on...what are the blocks to such approaches.They are indeed affected by behaviours,attitudes,environmental/workplace conditions...But what are the other factors?

in my experience leadership and a leadership approach that shows that it cares and genuinely places profit below safe and healthy work practices...not an easy recipe and transformation for any company.It means making definite committmentts to listening and inevitably..I think transforming company operations into a more equitable and sustainable mode with a full concern for all hazardous practices.Ciao
